You Didn’t Change, You Just learned about The Real You
They all say you’ve changed, but the reality is you didn’t. You just learned who you really are!
The idea of discovering oneself or becoming someone unexpected scares most of us; we ignore it, avoid it and sometimes, we even run away from it.
We want to stay within our comfort zones. Keep the things that people loved about us, and remain exactly the same.
The reality is, as you encounter different experiences and take on certain challenges, you learn so many new things about yourself.
You learn just how strong, brave and how much of a fighter you truly are. You learn that you don’t have to settle for a person, a place or a situation that makes you feel less.
You learn that your fears and doubts are never your weaknesses, but ultimately your strength.
You learn that there’s no need to pull yourself down, dull your shine, and doubt your capacity.
You learn that in the midst of the noises, your utmost priority is to listen to yourself even more, honor your emotions and respect the things you really believe in.
You learn that at the end of the day, you don’t need other people’s validation or assurance that you can do it, not because they don’t matter anymore, but because you’ve learned that before they believe in you, you have to believe in yourself first.
You slowly unravel all of your layers, see through your disguises and allow yourself the freedom to be who you really are.
You finally have a deeper understanding of yourself, exploring all the things that makes you unique, all the things that make you beautiful, all the things that make you – simply, you!
And it wasn’t this big transformation, you just became the real you. Now, that’s something to celebrate!
