At 25, It’s Okay To Not Know Everything
It’s okay to not have it all figured out.
The truth is, you don’t have to conform to anyone’s expectation of who you should be. You don’t have to be obsessed about finding out what’s in store for you, if you’re on the right track, or if you’re going to regret the steps you take.
You won’t figure out your whole life in twenty-five years.
When you learn to just allow things to happen, they will flourish in the right season and you’ll be surprised by how splendid they are.
So at 25, it’s okay to feel a little lost. Embrace the uncertainty, the confusion. You don’t have to be sure of everything right now—you don’t have to be frightened as well—you just have to be excited and willing. It’s all part of the journey.
You are still young and the most valuable thing you have is time. Take time in finding out what you really want, what career you want to pursue, if you want to marry, or when you want to have kids. This is your life. You create your own timeline.
You are exactly where you need to be right now. Detours and more detours are certainly a part of life in order for you to find your way. No matter how unfamiliar your path is or difficult your circumstances are… you’ll find your way.
Being 25 is not easy. But keep moving, keep growing and eventually, you’ll see yourself in a place of fulfilment and joy. Wherever you are right now, enjoy it. And make it as meaningful, as productive and as purposeful as you can.
You will figure the rest out in time.
